Dee Dee McKee is a graduate of Harvard Law School, former Big Law attorney, and former in-house general counsel with more than 15 years of experience advising clients on commercial contracts, corporate transactions, and other business law matters. She has closed more than $5 billion in deals and founded the Law Office of Dee Dee C. McKee, PLLC in 2019.

Our firm’s practice focuses on helping clients with commercial contracts (including complex SaaS MSAs, sales and vendor agreements, and technology licensing arrangements) and business law matters (including business formations, business purchases and sales, and other corporate transactions). Dee Dee also serves as a trusted legal advisor and primary point of contact for many of the firm’s business clients, and maintains a strong network of outside attorneys for referrals and collaboration on matters requiring specialized expertise or additional resources.

Dee Dee is licensed to practice in Texas and New York, and is a New York State licensed CPA. Dee Dee has been selected to the Super Lawyers list for Business Law every year since 2022. She has also been recognized annually by Austin Monthly as one of Austin’s Top Attorneys for Business Law and by The National Black Lawyers on its Top 100 list since 2021. Outside of her legal practice, Dee Dee is active in her community, serving as a board member and treasurer of The Better Food Foundation and volunteering at her children’s school and with Girl Scouts. She lives in southwest Austin with her 10-year-old twins.
